What's wrong with me?? It's summer and I've actually gone fishing twice already- I hate summer fishing- I just can't remember why- he he Took my friend Travis to Dorena yesterday and just basically had a great time- didn't snap very many photos, though. Good luck to all at Silver! Dave

Gee wiz,I tried to call ya.No wonder you didn't answer.Always busy catching the big ones.Glad you had a good time with your friend Travis.Maybe we can get out one more time in 07. Just realized- that wasn't much of a "report" at all! So, we get there with plans to fish the steep bluffs, but the water temp was only 67.9, so that threw that plan out the window. We headed to the flats and kind of assumed that they wouldn't be on the shallow flats, but maybe out on the edges in a little deeper water and started catching fish right off the bat. Jigs, swimbaits and 6 inch worms. Water was 70 by the end of the day- never touched a fish near the dam, but they were there- just not good conditions for them to bite. Dave

They should have been on the shallow flats but with the resevoir down the fish pulled out a bit. Clobbered them there a few days ago, all fish between 15-23 feet deep.

Yeah, the water is down-and clear! I went to find this one isolated stump that's in the middle of nowhere and was driving around, looking at my electronics when Travis looks down beside the boat and said "is that it?" he he.
