Well the wife (Duckchic) and I have been trying to catch some Oregon bass for a while and didn't have ANY success. Lets just say the smell of skunk was getting old.:frown: Well, lucky for us BigTK offered to show us a couple of spots on greenpeter yesterday. Thanks to him the stank is now gone forever:cheers:. Not only that, but we decided to go this morning just to prove it wasn't a fluke and we both caught fish again. Yesterday I hooked 4 and landed 2. Duckchic still stank with the skunk juice. But today she caught her first and I caught 3 more. HUGE thanks to BigTK! Hell of a guy:applause:

Nice work! Aaah, Green peter- have some awesome memories of that place. Alot of guys wouldn't believe that actually used to be a BIG fish lake. So, what are DD Calls??? Dave

DD Calls are custom duck, goose and predator calls. Just bought another line of calls also and will be adding them to the DD line up.

Great Fish!!

I have never fished GP before but i have a question??

ARE THOSE SPOTTED BASS in stead of Largemouth?

I have caught a TON of spotted in Shasta and they look pretty close.

Thier lateral line looks "broken up" like a spot.

DID THEY HAVE TEETH???

Great report! it is nice when you can get into bass almost every trip!
you are on your way. Remember to fish early and fish the fall if you can break away from the ducks for a few days!
Great job!

Dave i think there still are some big fish to be had probably no 10lbers lurking around but maybe close. When i was up there a few weekends ago fishing and camping we talked to some guys in the quartzville arm and they were fishing a little cove with an inlet running in and they had a nice stringer of some good 2lb to 3lb bass. But they were also catching trout and said there had been a fish running around all morning but they couldn't get her to hit. Said she was huge and would chase around the trout when they would hook them from what they were saying i'm guessing close to seven lbs. Anyone ever caught or heard of any big ones caught there at GP?
