I am interested. I went up there last friday. Caught a couple 11" LM's. Nothing great.

(Mention of money removed, as per the AUP. There are several regulations that make cash tournaments very difficult for ifish and for the person putting it on. Please contact WDFW)[/B]
This is just a nice little fish-IN. No real compitition. I will be passing out maps and helping any one that needs help with a location that should hold fish. This is just for fun and learning more about bass fishing on Silver Lake.
Please come and join us (any one!) If we have an open back seat you can fish in a boat, I do not know of any openings at this time. I guided on Silver lake for over 10 years!

It looks like my brother, a friend and I will be coming up Sat. We will be fishing out of either a 12' alum. or 16' drift. No big ol fancy bass boat for us. Keep us posted.:meme:

We are going to be at the Silver Lake Resort around 4:30 AM on the morning of the 16th of june. No tournament, just a big fish pot. Just a bunch of guys going fishing. We are all going to bring a bag of tackle for a tackle exchange at the end of the day.

It's light enough to fish at 5AM now, if you are not on the water between 5-7, you may miss the best bite of the day completely.
This is Bassin, Not Baseball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's true, and Roger will second....you need to be on Silver EARLY this time of the year for the best bite!

I have removed all mention of money.
I hope you have fun at the fishing party, but on ifish I have to watch for permits, etc before something like a tournament or the exchange of money happens.
Sorry to be a downer. I hope you guys have a blast!

Oh- and next time? Before you do anything like this, maybe Washington is more lenient than Oregon, but it's a real fam dassle to do a money tournament in Oregon.
Anyhow, if you get a permit, I'd love to help sponsor a fun thing like this and even go, myself!

Thanks Jennie, it's amazing how something like this can grow. Maybe next year we can do something like this and do it right. Family thing with a pic-nic and all.:yay::yay::yay:

i was about to say something myself, because you have to get a contest permit in washington if your conducting a contest with more than 6 anglers, regardless of prize. nonetheless, I plan on being there, but plan on fishing until noon or so, instead of 3.
