I have taken all mention of money out of these threads, as it is illegal to put on a tournament without the appropriate license.
I think this is a fun idea and I hope you have a blast! However, I have to watch out for ifish. Sorry--
Thanks,
Jen

We caught about a dozen small fish, and were off the water before the second shower came threw at 1pm. I did lose one really good one on a jig, I did see him at least. We only caught one fish off the west pillings. How did everyone else do?

Ya the weather was not the best. Others can fill in all the blanks (ok some did ;-) B.F. & sands got over 20 bass for a total of about 6 keepers (great job boys!). Pitch and I got 11 bass and I got the 2nd biggest of the day with a 3 pound 7oz bass (others can tell the story behind that ONE:grin:).
And I do not remember the name of the person that got the
BIG FISH O THE DAY at 5 pounds 8oz. That was a GREAT JOB IN A RENTAL BOAT WITH OUT A TROLLING MOTOR & in the wind!!!!!! The bass loved moving baits, 90% of the bass got caught on them. Other fish fell to senkos and yes I got a few on a 3 inch senko (even my big fish of the day:passout::laugh:). IF the weather would have been more stable we would have seen SEVERAL good bass come it lots of NWB and Ifishers did have big fish on but the fish were not inhailing the baits just picking at them. I Trted to set this fish-in up for the time after the spawn and when the big sows start feeding heavly! I had lots of fun and almost every one got into bass (the summer pattern is underway on Silver (some of you know what that means! Rocks and docks!!!)
I think we need one more Hagg fish-in:pray:. I love the idea of the fishins and I try to make the ones I set up be a great learning opertunity!
I hope every one had fun! Some one will post the photos!
Thanks

roger actually caught his big fish sticking his 3 inch senko through a hole in the dock about 8 inches wide...let it sink and...oop fish on! I did alright from my canoe but no pigs...

the bite really picked up sat night. crankbaits on the rocks was the pattern. tangledline69 hooked into a 5+ pounder but it shook when he went to lip it. on sunday morning i hooked into a 5+ and a 3 or so pouder on the bulkhead at silver lake motel and resort but they both shook off when i got them to shore. chuck and pitchs dad saw me loose them. we caught a bunch more dinks but nothing over 1 1/2 pounds. it was super windy and lots of rain as well. but it was definately fun! hoefully the hagg fish in is pretty soon.

It was great meeting a few people I hadn't put a face to yet and I think a good time was had by all.

Sandz was a great back seat partner and caught his share of fish even though I frontended him as much as I could all day.:smirk::smirk:

We figure we caught around fifty fish for the two half days and the one full day we were there.

We actually didn't have a keeper in the boat until about 2:30, then we figured out a pattern and put about 9 #'s in the boat in around a half hour. We actually had to cull one. Did anyone else figure that they put together a limit for the day?

In a canal reeling a black blue spinnerbait across the pads. The bait wasn't in the water long enough mostly to spin the blades more than 2-3 times but they would blow up on it when it hit an open spot. A couple times right at the boat. It was very important to be in a stealth mode, the fish were very spooky.

Thanks for saying I lost an 8#'r, but that is not possable to know for sure. It was a huge fish but wasn't seen. Great 15 second fight though.

So, lets weight this all out. One broken windsheild, (Pick-up), one torn up trim tab, one brand new stainless prop that will have to be sent in for repairs, Numerous lost crankbaits and one chewed up trolling motor prop. Oh, and not to forget a torn up skeg!!!!!!!!!!
:bricks:

Man it's nice to have bigger boat, My Statos made the two foot chop feel like nothing. Sure is fun running across a 2' chop at 65 MPH.:dance:

I think I will quit Bass fishing, Ya, when H*ll freezes over!

ow bassin fever that hurts lol. how did you break the windshield? one thing thats not so good about silver lake is it is a prop eater. especially the resorts launch. i see so many peoples prop get chopped there while they pull there boat out.. nice job though i would definately say you guys took the pot lol.

Hey Roger the fish was 5lb4oz, not 8:D. One of the guys in our boat got it - he's a pretty novice bass guy so it was double sweet for him to hook up with a good fish like that - white spinnerbait by what else but rocks and docks!.

Here's Rogers 3lber through a dock hole on a 3" senko:
