Took my new Drift Boat out today with a friend. We caught over 100 lost count somewhere around 70.

We didn't get any big ones. We caught around 10-15 that were around 1-1 1/2lbs.. Some of them got into the current and felt like 5 lbers.

We caught most of them on jerkbaits and grubs. They would only bite one color of grub which was surprising. My buddy was hammering on a rapala with 1 split shot.

Water still a little cold and was really mossy. We didn't see any shad at all which was a surprise. I saw about 15lb Chinook roll though!

Overall a great trip

The secret color was a blue pearl salt & pepper grub.

They wouldn't hit white, off-white, silver, brown, grey or chartreuse which is unusual or any other salt & pepper colors.

They only liked the gold colored jerk baits as well which is not the norm.

We had to work for it early-- but once we figured out what they would bite it was fish almost every cast!!:smash:
