I don't believe that two-way satellite is available around these parts yet, that it is still being trialed in Canada. This means that you would have to keep your dial up ISP for the uplink, as at this time satellite only supports downflow.

As far as the 2-way sattelite deal. Microsoft is supposed to rolling that out at Radio Shack. Swing by your Radio Shack down there and ask them what they've heard. Whenever I'm in there i ask if it's availiable here. Haven't been in in a while, don't know where it stands now.
I don't need it (got cable images/icons/grin.gif ) Brother lives in the boonies and can't wait for high speed. After having high speed I will never go back to a dial up.
