i was wondering whats the best way to catch the landlock chinooks in greenpeter...i heard trolling but i wasnt sure, any help???

well excuse me if this is stupid.... but still fishing or trolling or what, does it even matter?! and worm and shrimp on one hook?

You may want to do a search, as a couple of people have posted that they caught them while fishing for trout or Kokes. You could probably use a veriety of trout gear and be effective.

I have not caught any, course I have not been up there this year either.

I've only fished GP a couple times so far this year, but I did get two of the Chinooks (both about 17") and that was when I was jigging by the dam.
Half ounce Pink/Pearl Gibbs minnow with shoepeg corn on the hooks.

Past years, most of them have come by trolling Wedding Rings.

I have caught them on just about everything. Pink pearl buzz bombs work great.

For trolling the F4 flatfish pictured below knocked the snot out of them in the fall.

I do not really fish GP this time of the year but I imagine the same flat fish long lined if they are on top or on a down rigger would get em now.

Yesterday I marked some down deep 80' or so, try a herring! My boy did get a 4 lber on one of my wedding rings though at 45' though earlier in the year!

None yesterday, but every other trip I have. I don't target them, but there seems to be plenty.

I've gotten em on worm and shrimp , most of the elders off the bridge catch em the that , thats how i learned , i've also caught em on chrome kast masters ..:food:
