Been following the posts regarding spray on bedliner's...Since I'm a do-it-yourselfer....I've elected to give the inside and front deck of the old Fish Rite a coating of spray on bedliner today. So far...the cost is about $250.00 in materials...and that should just about do it. If anyone's curious about my results....E-Mail me or post below. I'll check back later with results.

O.k...Here's the results......Looks awesome...but it's not cheap to do. About 50 bucks a quart. It took 5 cans (Qts). I saw it at the shop in Grey (mine's kinda like charcoal grey), Black (of course) Red, and White. More colors may be available....but I didn't ask. So...as far as the appearance goes...I'm way satisfied. Hope it wears as good as it looks. I have a 20 foot "open" style Fish Rite sled. Dawhunt..1 can ought to do ya I think. You'll need 80 psi and an "undercoat" gun...you can borrow mine if ya like. The gun's 35 bucks if you buy one. Got my materials at "Industrial Finishes" on Mcloughlin...There's also another one on
Foster somewhere...and one up in the St. Johns area of Vancouver. images/icons/wink.gif Next job is get a pic on the digi-cam. For those of you that'd like..I'll send ya a photo when I get to that point. E-Mail me if you'd like one.

I put my own bedliner in my truck - hardest work I've ever done, but it turned out nice. About 4 hours of heavy scrubbing with a scotchbrite pad to mar the paint - rolling it on was easy. I think the stuff is called Herculiner and it was $100 for a gallon which goes a long way. Terry Kennedy, the guide I fish with on the Rogue, put this stuff on the aluminum floor of his jet boat about 3 years ago and I fished with him last weekend and it still looks good. I think he just took the floor boards out and took it to Line-X or Rhino. I put some of the Herculiner on the bow of my boat where the anchor line rubs and it is holding up well.
