Squeaked-in one last pre-spawner for 2007

Fishlipper (Chet) and I got out yesterday to see if we could find that one willing (retarded) bass that hadn't spawned yet and would still eat. Fishing was tough and slow but we managed 8 bass including this pre-spawner. We saw one other fish that hadn't spawned yet that appeared to be in the 7 to 8 pound class, and Chet hooked a really nice one that we never got to see. Great fun and nice surprise for this time of year, thanks for trip, Fishlipper! Dave Smith

I have caught so few fish this Spring that I thought maybe it was a 7 or 8 when I was fighting her (winching her to the boat), but she turned out to be a strait six, not a V-eight. Dave
