Today, my younger sister is going in for triple bypass surgery. She has very small coronary arteries, and is considered just barely, an acceptable candidate for coronary bypass. The surgery is going to be very risky, but w/o the surgery, her prognosis is very poor. She is only 52 years old, and has pretty severe coronary disease. The surgery will be at St. Vincents Hospital in Beaverton. Please pray for a good outcome, as she is the only family I have left, except for my 2 kids, and one Grandson.

You got it Rich. Just went through this with my dad. The surgeons at ST V's are the best. Who is the surgeon?
Will pray for a speedy recovery and that God will touch her body and guide the surgeons hands.

Just got back from P.Town, and a report on my sister. :cheers:
She ended up having a quadruple by-pass surgery. Her doctor told her she probably never had good arteries on the right side of her heart. Her sugery went perfectly!!:applause::pray::applause: I was so relieved, so thankful, and so overwhelmed emotionally. My prayers were answered, and my sister is doing great. She actually walked to the 6th floor and her regular room Saturday AM, less than 24 hours after surgery.:bigshock:
I was with her on Saturday, and she was doing really well, except for the pain level in the 8-9 range. Her pain level was down to about 5 this afternoon, and she is progressing well enough to probably go home Tuesday or Wednesday.:pray::applause:
Thanks to all of you for your prayers, it really meant alot to me and my sister, and I believe had a lot to do with her successful surgery, and eventual recovery.:bowdown::bowdown::applause::applause:

I have a further update. After talking w/ Sis this evening, she said the doctors have cleared her to go home tomorrow. :grin::pray::pray::grin:
She is being sooo strong through all of this, it is a true blessing from God, that he is giving her a renewed life. :bowdown::angel::bowdown:
