Thielsen View C.G./Diamond Lake???

I've only fished Diamond a couple times and don't really remember much about the lake.

Is Thielsen View C.G. close to enough to good "still fishing" that I could run my 12' boat with electric motor and throw out my anchor's? I'm talking close enough as being a few hundred yards. When I did fish it we stayed on the SE end and would motor almost straight across to the west bank and fish. I'm thinking that was the shrimp hole.

Is there any power at Thielsen to charge my battery?

Since Thielsen is a non-res facility, what do you think my odds are of finding at spot on a Monday or Tuesday afternoon?

When I was there 3 or 4 weeks ago the best fishing was off the southwest shoreline. I think your campground is in that area, so you should be ok for what you want to do. It wasn't overly crowded when we were there, so I would guess that your chance at a campsite on a weekday should be good. I'm not sure, but I don't think there is any electricity available. Have fun
