I'm Thinking of making a family camping trip to Hebo Lake next week but I've never been there! I looking for some input on what to expect, are the campsites nice, is there a boat ramp, does it get really crowded, and how is the fishing? If you have camped/fished there I would really appreciate some info. The website doesn't offer much info other than directions and fees. Thanks for the help!

Hey BB, I have never camped there but I fish it a few times each year. The lake is small and a float tube or car topper would be plenty. I have never seen an actual boat ramp? We just walk off the bank, not steep around the camp/picnic sites. Not sure about power and water. Hebo ranger station is at the bottom of the hill, maybe give them a call, they may have detailed info for you.
We had good luck on red rooster tails, power bait and worms under a bobber.

The Siuslaw National Forest website has some information about camping at the lake. Give that a try.
