Got my in-laws comin into town and was thinkin about crabbing. I figure with the weather and our winter they maybe in molt? Anyone got a word on Netarts area. Safe weekend all....

Crabbed at Netarts Sunday and Monday mornings. It looked like the bay was hit hard Saturday with several rental boats out when we arrived early that afternoon. Sunday we crabbed down by the mouth 1 1/2 hours before low slack and about 2 hours after. Lots of Red Rock crabs and 6 Dunginess. Monday we crabbed up in the bay 2 hours before low slack and picked up 4 Dunginess and a lot fewer Red Rock. We had fresh Shad for bait caught the week before. The Dunginess were about 60/40, 60% light. Gapper digging was great. My partner and I both dug a limit while we had the traps out. Hope this helps you out.
