Okay, not quite. But close!
Launched at Cedar Oak on Sunday morning and fished up to the 205. Right off the launch, BAM, dink smallie. Paddled up the river next to Cedar island a bit, BAM, another one. Crossed the river at marker 19, two more. It went on like this all the way to the parking lot that used to be a river between Clackamette Park and the 205.
This was fun, but I was fishing for crab bait. After number 8 I started to think it was one fish following me, but the ninth was a little bigger (maybe 11"). I was fishing a 1/32 gold jig head with a chartruese curly tail and a 2' dropper in 14' to 25' of water. No Shad but it was a lovely day on the water.
