Mikie and I were supposed to go get shrimp. I havent seen him in a while.
As for shuttles, There is a shuttle service. I will post the # here on this post later today....
There are both nookies and steelhead in the river. The water is low at the moment, So the nookies might be tough.
Im sorry I havent been keeping up on this but its been real hectic around my place lately. I need to get off my butt and get all the info posted. I will do that tomorrow

Okay, here we are 10 day's and counting and I'm either looking for an open seat or have room in my boat. I would really like to do this trip. I would like to know if Steelheading or Chinookies is the catch or a little of both. Is there a shuttle service there? Is the drift an easy one that a novice can do? Is there bait close by or what is everybody using? Is anybody interested on having another body in there boat or does anybody want to go in my boat. Any Taker's? images/icons/smile.gif Smily images/icons/smile.gif

Smily.......
The drifts on the South are rather easy and should be no problem for a novice. Right now there are springers and steelies throughout the river. Hopefully by June 2, the Corps of Engineers will have the water back up to a good flow. By way of bait, I think there is a bunch of folks pumping shrimp the day before the float. Mikie or Willierower could shed more light on this for you. Also, bring eggs for the springers.
