NSIA has been in the leading forefront of getting and keeping fishing seasons, support them now.


Many of you know of the support that the O'Loughlin Family has given to the NSIA. Bill O'Loughlin was a founding board member, and instrumental in setting up the organization. For many, many years they have written a check to NSIA for $25,000 after each show season.

This year, Bill made NSIA a generous challenge: He wrote a check to NSIA for $5,000, and offered to match $.50 on the dollar every NEW member signed up before May 30th. The response has been excellent to date, with several large companies coming on board this year for $5,000 (turning into $7,500 for NSIA) such as Coleman Company and Maurice Sporting Goods.

Please help us with a sprint to the finish line! We only have a few more days. If you know of a new member who is thinking about joining the winning NSIA team, the O'Loughlin family will generously contribute a 50% match to their dollars. Please call the office right away. Am I glad you posted this!! I am also embarassed. I have known of the NSIA for a very long time but did not know that they accepted individual membership. I phoned the director Liz Hamilton and got this "boat" headed in the right direction. This is, in my opinion...the organization that can pull us all together as much as possible...in fact they already do and most of us don't know it!!

NSIA is the "Northwest Sportfishing Industry Association" the primary supporters have been tackle manufacturers, wholesale tackle business and retail tackle business. They lobby hard in Wasington, Oregon and Wa. DC. In a nutshell where they stand. They operate on two premises. The urgent and the important...and always Sportfishing First!

I am sure that we all won't agree 100%, but these folks are in the trenches where I want to be! I didn't know I could joing until today...and my $50.00 for membership is on its way...the great thing is that means that O'Loughlins will pitch in another $25.00. So...join if you want! But join NOW!!! It is a sprint to the finish regarding the O'Loughlin money...May 30th is knocking on the proverbial door...lets get some of that sportmans show ticket price back into our fish!!!
