hey guys
launched early morning on the bonneville pool.
mild conditions and tube baits combined for a winning ticket.
fished with my buddy james smiley.
together we put together a 19 pound bag.
these two fish are my career personal best smallmouth(s);
within 30 minutes, and 1/4 mile of each other.
fish on the left at 4lbs even.
the middle and rightmost photo are of the 2nd (bigger) fish: 4lbs 5 oz.
both females were immediately released for you guys to catch!

Within 30 minutes and inside a 1/4 mile stretch...thats impressive! A lot of us wait years for fish like those. Its awesome that you did all this in one outing. Way to go!! And being that you were fishing with James, were you using Outlaw tubes? The only thing I could pick fish up on last week out of Hood River were Mocha/Blk Flake Gitter tubes. I love those things!

live2fish,
yes i was throwing the ugly green outlaw tube.
the mocka and black flake is a close runner up.
i've also been taking fish on the sand color.
yes sir, i have waited for years to catch a 4pound smallie.
i've logged a scary amount of time on the water in search of quality...
even a regular 'joe' has a good day once in a while.
