Well as a few of you know from the past my wife and I have been trying for a baby for about 4 yrs now. There has been alot of frustration and hope and unfortunately alot of disappointment to. We finally got insurance to help pay for fertitlity drugs as the cost is so high we were unable to go with this option before. We are lucky to have one of the most highly rated fertility doctors in the area and everything with my wife and I checked out ok medically so the second round of shots has begun. The doctor has chosen to be pretty aggrssive with this round as last round didn't pan out for my wife and I. Hopefully this works out well for us this time. We are both ready for children and continue to pray this works.
If anybody could offer a prayer for us it would be greatly appreciated as we can use all we can get. Really hope to have another little fisher around the house soon. Thanks
Tim (fishinfool)

We had our kids 10 years apart. Tough being the oldest parents at your daughters 8th grade graduation. But I have a farmer friend out by Mt. Angel that has 16 kids. (not a typo and no more than one per birth) Ages 30 to 3. So I don't feel so bad. P.S. That means his wife was pregnant for a total of 12 years!! Ouch!!

Have you seen the show on Discovery Channel "Jon and Kate + eight" ? If not you should try and watch it. Fertility treatments can work, just be prepared for that anticipated unexpected reply.:passout:

Prayers sent for you, your wife, and the family to be.

Thanks for the prayers. So far it has been very emotional for the both of us. Everytime my wife goes in the meds don't seem to be having the desired effect. The doc has us on the max dose and we have another follow-up tomorrow. It is so hard when the doc keeps saying no on if it is having the effect we both want of need. There is such a desire to have your own and to get the hopes up high only to recieve down news each time. We continue to hope a pray and the doc won't let us give up. Such a trying time to be going through sometimes emotions get the better of you and you actually break down and cry as you continue to hope. I am confident it will happen but I would love to have an easy time for once. Continuing to pray for a little one. Thanks for all the prayers it is much appreciated!! :angel1::angel1::angel1::angel1:

fishinfool:

It's obvious to anyone reading your post that you and your wife are the type of parents who God wants raising His children. The love, care, and parental guidance that you would provide are things that some kids are sadly short-changed on these days. You're still very young and we know that God has His own plan and time table for each of us.

But no matter what happens, please always keep the beautiful option of adoption open in your hearts. You are meant to be parents, and all children are meant to be part of a loving family, raised by a mom and dad. There are so many little ones out there who would be so blessed to be part of your family, and they would be such a blessing to you too. How God delights in this!

This is just a suggestion and is of course an important decision that only you and your wife can make. If another little one should come along in the future...well...they would already have an older brother or sister at home! :hearton:

Here's some information for Christians about adoption. Still praying for you...Dh.
