Just got off the lake. Did good until the wind came up predictably at 11:00 am.
Trolling:
We used silver/silver flashlites - red snubber - gold wedding rings or silver kokanee killers. add 2 pieces of shoopeg corn marinated in shrimp scent to the hook. Fish from the boat ramp to the damn or from the island to the floating porta-potty. Fish 40-50 ft deep.

Still Fishing:
Tie up to the the log boom someplace South of the center of the dam. Still fish a number 4 baitholder hook with a 1/2 inch piece of worm on the hook shank and salad shrimp on the barb. Fish 35 to 50 ft deep.

Fish are 12-14 inches and chunky. Eggs arent even close to being developed so fish will get a lot bigger before spawning.

About 25 boats on the lake so its NOT a secret--- go get yours!!!

Thanks for the report ! I sure enjoyed my "newbee" trip last weekend......there is no shortage of fish.....you just need to run into them.

Just got back from GP as well. 4 Fish at the dam, jigging pink/white Gibbs minnows w/ shoepeg corn, 2 Kokes, 2 Chinooks, about 40' down.
Then we went trolling, no flashers, no dodgers, just Gary's green Wedding Ring w/corn. 5 more nice chunky Kokes and then we'd had enough. Interesting thing today was the WR with the Orange prism blade outfished the Green bladed one 5-0. Again about 40'down.
