Just found out last night that an ex-employee that I really liked and appreciated died two weeks ago. Bill Witzig was in his 50's and worked for me for a few years when I first started out. We kept in touch on and off over the years and I tracked where he was employed from time to time. Bill was one of the nicest guys I've known and the way he died has taken my by complete surprise.

Bill decided during this past fall to go out on his own and start a repair shop. I tried to discourage him from doing this as I know just what the demands are from insurance companies, clients, rental agencies and so on. He said he had to go for it as it was his dream.

Bill's dream ended two weeks ago after he opened his shop. One of his employees found Bill in the bathroom barely breathing and with a needle still in his arm.:frown: Bill died a short time later at the hospital from an apparent drug overdose. Details are not clear yet and I have more research to do but his is just a total shock to me. My heart hurts for his family and friends that were so close to him. They, like myself, have to be searching for answers as to why this happened. I may truly never know the complete answer but I would ask you even two weeks after the fact to pray for his wife Teresa and his three daughters.

Thank you.

This type of broken dream is all too common in today's driven world. Praying for Bill's family and friends.
