My galvanized trailer has LED lights and they are going bad I can see water inside one of them. Has anyone found good replacement lights for these the warranty is out and I will be changing them myself. The trailer is an EZ loader. I would like to find some that will bolt right up with out making new holes in the galvanized trailer.

I just changed out a set for a relative on his EZ Loader and his were still under warranty but I am wondering if the new ones I installed for him will be any better than the first set. I am not trying to start an EZ Loader trailer bashing thread I just want some good advice on new lights.
Thanks Mike

Do not over torque the mounting bolts. It cracks the plastic housing, which leads to water intrusion.

I have a EZ loader trailer and the LED lights have worked very good for a long time. Don't believe there is any better lights available for a trailer. It is very likely that the tail lights you have were broken or cracked in some way to cause the trouble. As LED lights will work and work and work for a long time with out trouble. They will break like almost anything. Backing them into something or hitting something could have caused the trouble.

Good Luck;

The stock LED's on my ez-loader were replaced mid-fall. I bought the replacement LED's off the shelf at West Marine. Same style, same holes. Probably could find them cheaper elsewhere, but I was in a hurry. No leaks... yet.

Best advise I have heard is 1) don't overtighten & 2) don't step on the area above them (even though it looks like a step).

I put a pair of the Seasense LED's on my EZLoader about 5 years ago. I'm never going back to regular bulbs again.

I have to replace mine about every six months due to the same problem. Get on the website, contact customer service and they will send you a pair for free. They have been nothing but a problem for me and quite a few others with the same trailers.

They also sent me new lights. Tell them what year, they had a factory defect in some during the 03-05 season. Ask for the warrenty department.
They were great with mine.
