View Full Version : I needs some 11/8" plywood scraps

I am building a small covered wagon with my son for an Oregon Trail school project. I want to make the wheels out of 1" or 11/8" plywood. Does anyone have some scraps or old concrete forms that they would be willing to part with??? I need 4 pieces about 20" x 20" for making 18" wheels. Please let me know if you have some or know where I can get some without having to buy a sheet. Thanks

Just stop by any of the new construction homes in your area that are sheeting the walls/roofs and ask. I can't imagine they would have a problem giving you some scap pieces once your told them what it was for.
Just a thought..................

AJ, Stop by a platt electric supply and pick up a free wire spool X 2 and unbolt them and you have 4 wheels. They are about 1.5" thick.:smirk:
