When fishing for gators, what is the best tide scenario? Low to Hi or Hi to low ....

Both work for me....Best has been...
1. High slack and the first 1 hour after.
2. Last 2 hours of the outgoing till the first 1 hour of the incoming.
This is for around the mouth of the Willamette and below.
Good luck and use lots of Procure Sturgeon Cocktail in the smelt.
