Hey everyone, we are producing a huge (FREE) festival at the Salem riverfront park this September. I completed the lineup today and this is who is performing:

Jars of Clay, Avalon, Salvador, Big Daddy Weave, Jump 5, Paul Wright, Grits, and Disciple! Looks like comedian Bob Smiley will be the emcee so this is an awesome lineup and the production we are putting together will blow you away!

There will also be a pro-sports zone, children's area, food court, inflatables and tons of other stuff!

This is an evangelistic event so if you plan to come bring your non-saved friends. This will be the biggest Christian festival the city of Salem has ever seen and the entire local city government is behind this. We have been planning this for over 18 months and now is finally ready to announce. We expect over 20,000 people to be there so bring your blanket early and enjoy an incredible experience!

I also would be interested in hearing more details on this. My kids and I would love it. If you could get back to us asap on the exact dates and time that would be great.

Thanks,
Kelly

There are some things in place right now that I am happy to share. I am producing the event so as I get information I would be more than happy to share it here. Here is some more info on who is playing on each day.

Saturday: worship band ( I sent an email to Matt Redman today hoping he would do this but if not then a local worship group will open the festival each day), Grits, Disciple, Jump 5, and Salvador. I am still working on what the order will be but Salvador will be the last group.

Sunday: worship group, Paul Wright, Big Daddy Weave, Avalon, and Jars of Clay. This looks solid right now.

Bob Smiley is 80% confirmed, we are working with Compassion International to bring him in.

The event will start at noon each day with drama's and other kids events, pro BMX'ers, skaters and the Luis Palau "Livin It" program that will be huge. Music will start around 4pm each day and the production including staging, sound & lights will be as big as we can fit into the event. You will be blown away by this so bring your blanket and get a place on the grass early as the waterfront park will fill up.

I will pass on more info as we release it.

Hope to see you there!

Serving together,
Keith
