To all the great people who frequent the Angler's Chapel:

In a few days my wife and I will be traveling to Singapore and West Maylasia. I have been asked to speak at a great church in Singapore, then to be the main speaker at some special meetings in Malacca, West Maylasia. We are looking forward to this trip. My prayer request is for physical strength (I will be preaching 9 times in a week), and also that I would really have the mind of Christ for these meetings. Jeremiah 23 says "let the one who has my word speak it faithfully". That is my desire.

Thanks for your consideration!

Pastor Dave

As Christians we need to pray for and with each other. Expecially the needs and support of Christian leaders, whether in the church, or in society. Church leaders face many challenges , balancing the roles of pastor, priest, preacher, Church leader, and administrator, besides these roles , they have their number 1 occupation and that is of a husband and father. Those Christians in secular leadership positions face the challenge of remaining true to the gospel in a complex and difficult world. Like it or not, Christian pastors will have cast upon them heavy burdens of expectation, with society ready to condemn any weakness or mistake, And to all this MY PRAYERS are with you my good friend and Brother, Grantspastor. I have served as elder and I do know What it is like for Pastors taking "Gods word on the road" in a foreign country.
But the blessings are substantual when one obeys the call of The Lord, and preaches out of his comfort zone. And the glorious times you will share Grantspastor, when you meet in Heaven thoes who came to the Lord, because you preached and taught his word to thoes whom you never met.
Lord bless

Dear Lord,
I just want to lift up Grantspastor and his wife to you Lord. They will soon be out spreading Your word, in lands that aren't as desireable as ours. Lord You gave them the opportunity to do this, You know they are doing Your will Father, and I just pray that you will keep them safe, healthy, and most of all focused and grounded on You and in Your word. Walk with them, talk with them, let them feel your precense as they are down there. In Jesus' Holy Name... AMEN!!!!

I'll keep praying for you GP!! :D

Nothing but admiration for you and your wife Pastor. A servant heart you have my friend and I look up to that. I've never been on a missions trip but have donated to missions and missions events at the churches we have attended. One day I will do this (its a goal of mine) and I am certain to be humbled by the peoples visited.

praying for a blessed trip.
