:pray::pray: I'm asking if you all could pray for me, my friend stephanie, and my friend Brian as tomorrow (national prayer day) we start at 9am praying at the MHCC campus. (mount hood community college campus) It will be a huge time in prayer but while we are praying, we also need people to pray for us that we will stay focused and engulfed in what the Lord and who the Lord wants us to pray for. Also that we won't get distracted by people talking or anything like that. We will be doing this prayer thing ALL DAY LONG!!! We will have a break from 12-1 for our outreach class which needs prayer over while we are in an open discussion with a non believer. but then it will start up again after 1pm and will go till whenever people need to go home. ITs only us three so we majorily need some prayer.

Thank you all so much. You are all very wonderful!!

PS Here is a poem that God inspired me to write on Tuesday. HOpe you enjoy :D

My Prayer

In all my days, You’ve known me.
You knew me when I didn’t know You.
You loved me, even when I shunned You and threw insults at You
Every instance of life I have,
You breathed into me.
You have everything that I’ve done and will do
In front of You.
You’ve taken me in Your arms
And cradled me ever so gently.

You made me to love
You made me to serve You
You held my hand through every struggle and trial
Every moment of sadness, You shared with me.
Not once did You look away from me
Not once did You not love me
For each step I took, You carried me

My heart cries out to You O God
I fall at Your feet
Take me Lord and guide me
Search me, find every wrong in me
So that I may turn to You and grow ever stronger with You O Lord.
Lead me, guide me in Your will oh Lord.

For You are my Father
My one true God
The Savior of all,
The Glory of the nation
The Maker of heaven and earth
My Love, my heart., my soul
Belongs to You O Lord.

A healing touch

Who touched me? Somebody touched me
With the needs, the dreams and the hopes of the world
Who touched me? Somebody touched me
And I turned and saw the people
And I turned and listened to their story
Who touched me? Somebody touched me
And I turned and saw two worlds where God created one
And the gates of the rich were closed
And I dreamed of the world you created
A garden with plenty for everyone
With a stream of clean flowing water
For all to drink
And I believe in life
I believe in hope
I believe in a future
where there is one world
we build together.
Who touched me? Somebody touched me
And I pray
Stay with us, Lord, as we pray for a better world.............

Okay... so I realized I hadn't told any of you how Thursday's prayer went. Well we arrived and met in the college center at 9am just like we all planned. And as my friend mary, stephanie, and I were waiting for our other buddy we decided to sing some worship songs. While we were a man (who we had never met before) came out and started to listen to us sing. As we finished one of the songs he told us that it reminded him of his Grandmother. Then he continued on to tell us how she is in the Critical Care Unit at the hospital. THis guy is not a small dude, and he's not the type of guy you would think that would break down and cry, but HE DID. and as he did my friends and I layed hands on him and prayed for his grandmother and family. It was an incredible time and he thanked us for doing that. :D when our other buddy (brian) finally showed up we took a walk around the pond and prayed while doing so. Each step we took, we could feel the Holy Spirit getting ever so stronger with us. We walked to the tennis courts near the gym and stopped and prayed there, walked back to the caffeteria and prayed there (these are all in half hour increments) then went to our class room which we do our outreach even in, and had a prayer session specifically for our outreach time for the last half hour. We prayed that the Presence of God would fill the room and that His Holy Spirit would over flow Matt so that the enemy would flee and Matt would be more open to seeing who God REALLY IS!! And what do you know Prayer was answered. As each one of us spoke, the Holy spirit took control of the words. My friend mary began to share her experience of how she came to know the Lord and Matt got frustrated and told us we were cheating cause he couldn't dispute the fact that we had those experiences. Totally God's hand right there. anyway, Afterwards most of them had to go but my friend Mary and I stayed and fellowshiped and sang worship songs while walking through the college. I tell you what... it is such an incredible feeling to know that God has surrounded you, because you are singing songs that give praises to the MOST HIGH GOD, in one of thee most liberal community colleges in the greater portland area. We had all sorts of people walk by, and someone, who didn't have the faith, would have been scared that some non believer would start yelling at them. Although we were singing at the top of our longs, practically for the whole world to hear, we did not once get shunned, yelled at, persecuted, or removed off campus. THe WORK, and POWER of God is so incredible. Anyway, that is how the day went. Needless to say, when I got back home I felt Like I had been on a spiritual workout all day long and it was time too sleep. :D Thank you all for your prayers... they helped in a major major way!!
