Looks like the run is nearly over in the lower Columbia.
Slllloooowwww.... is all I can say. Bigstew lost the only takedown we had!
(Way to go, Stew, sore mouth the only fish in the hole! images/icons/smile.gif No, it was exciting when he got the takedown!
Heard it was fairly slow all the way up and down the river.
Anyway, I am sad... Is it really OVER? Duh... Maybe they shouldn't have closed it when they did? Oh sure, the fish are gone, let's reopen it for the poor sportsfisherman!
I'm kidding, but gosh, sure sad to see all those fin clipped fish commit suicide above the dams.
Oh well, on with the Willamette and soon Tillamook Bay and the Trask and and and! OK! I'm smilin! images/icons/smile.gif images/icons/smile.gif images/icons/smile.gif

We managed a almost legal (41 inch) sturgeon on a sardine wrapped K-14!!! otherwise was slow, only saw two salmon caught, both wild. Wed opener, had three hookups, lost one, one wild, one keeper.

Dang, I guess we didn't do so bad after all.
Wednesday two hooked one keeper, Thursday 4 hookups, one keeper, Friday lots of hookups, one keeper all at Goble. Most on K13 chartreuse and silver. By the way Tillamook Sporting Goods has a line of K13 Quickfish.
