I don't usually pass on sad news like this, but sometimes
we have to pause and remember what life is all about.

Larry La Prise, the Detroit native who wrote the song "The
Hokey Pokey" died last week at the age of 83.
It was especially difficult for the family. They had trouble
placing him in the casket. They'd put his right leg in
