K-13 Kwikfish, Fishermans Marine in Oregon City have about a 100 or so. The only problem is they are all red. images/icons/smile.gif

Thanks Cagey
I wonder if it would ruin a lure by spray painting it a different color. Do they use a special paint that dries odorless? Do the salmon object to the odor of oilbase paint?

Just buy some of the lure paint, I'm sure its designed exactly for that. They have several kinds that involve heating (probably bad on a kwikfish) and several that are paint on. Can get almost any color you want and it's not that expensive.

G.I. Joe's here in Albany has orange, red and chrome/chartreuse tail. I haven't seen any other colors, though.

I took RT's advice and painted up an old M-2 flatfish that was loosing its finish. I just used black and white Rustoleum. First time I put it in the water a springer tried to eat it within about 15 minutes. After landing the fish, I put it out again and had the rod go down so soon I wasn't really paying attention and missed the hookset.

Last year on the M. Channel we paited several "custom" K-14's with the wife's nailpolish - cought 4 fish on 3 different custom spotted lures. Mostly silver with red, yellow and pink dots, placed in "strategic" locations (by a 3 year old). I know that nailpolish doesn't turn them off.
