My last day ended on the 11th and as normal a sye of relief came out. Not that I don't enjoy it, but after almost 4 months of it, its nice for a change. Although, after just a week off, I am ready to be back on the oars.
Next on the shedule is to get ready for Alaska, I will be leaving the end of May for the Nushagak. I believe there is room for two people for the O7 season so its pretty much booked out.
I have a couple days open for the Astoria/Nehalem season and Tillamook Bay is already full.
Here is a little pictorial from the last part of the 07 steelhead season.

Hatchery fish made up about 40% of the overall catch so there was some pretty decent wild fish action as well. Here is a little sampling.

As you can see March was filled with some wild spring weather snow, hail and rain seemed to be the norm. But was most often worth it.
