COMMERCIAL AND INDIAN NETS NEED TO GO AWAY. THIS IS JUST KILLING THE RUN NUMBERS. REOPENER MAY BE A BUST. WRITE YOUR CONGRESSMAN, SENATOR, GOVERNER, ODWF, THE PRESIDENT, WHOM EVER. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!!!! WE ARE THE ONLY RIVER LEFT TO ALLOW THIS KIND OF **** OF THE FISH RUNS. THERE IS NO REASON THAT THIS RIVER SHOULD NOT SUPPORT A RUN OF 2 MILLION NOOKIES. Bernie i dont think you will get a lot of argument about getting rid of the nets. We may some day see the end of commercial netting but i doubt it and the Indians have treaty rights that i dont think will ever change. As long as the government has a hand in it the Indians are going to net. Besides the Indians have all that gambling money to spend on lawyers and the poor hard working sports fishermen cant afford to fight them in court. dont get me wrong, i think we should keep fighting for no nets but its really a giant uphill battle. images/icons/shocked.gif images/icons/mad.gif
