The problem here lies in the fact that both picture trail and photo point don't ALWAYS let you put your photos on other web sites. Seems they have a random block for this.
I may be wrong, but that is what I have seen.
What most people don't know, is that most everyone has a space provided with their internet account that they can upload to. A simple phone call to your isp (internet service provider) will tell you yes or no. I bet the answer is yes. Then, you ask them how to do it. They usually have instructions to send out on this issue, as it is commonly asked.
I have been working with my cgi guy to help us come up with a similar picture posting thing like bobs board now has this morning.
It may be in the works soon. I will put it up as a trial in the near future.
Sooner or later we will take care of everyones needs. Until then, I got lots of work to do!

With more and more people wishing to post pictures on ifish and having difficulty doing so I am going to provide a step by step tutorial on using www.picturetrail.com to post your fishing photos.
Before we get started you will have to
1.Allready have your picture scanned and on your hard drive.
2.Be signed up and logged on to picturetrail
So here we go.
A.Go to the main page of picturetrail.com it's called picturetrail members area
B.Click on upload pics
C.You will come to Web browser uploade
Go to Step 1
D.Click on the firstBrowse button and find your scanned picture from your hard drive. It may look something like this C:/yourfish.jpgIt depends on where you have your picture stored.
E.Scroll down and go to Step 2Click on the Upload nowbutton.
F.Your picture should now be uploading to picturetrail(be patient this takes a couple of minutes). When it is done you will automatically be sent to the next page.
G.This is the Picutre inbox page. It will show you a small image of your of you photo. You will then be prompted to Move photo or Rotate and Move photo
If you do not need to rotate your photo go ahead and Select Album
H.Since your have allready signed on to Picturetrail you probably allready have an album. So go ahead and select the album you want the photo moved to.
I.This will move you to the next page.Select picture title and description Fill in whatever you like or leave blank then scroll down.
J.Leave everything as is as you scroll down. Don't change anything on these options until you are well acquainted with this process.
Click on the Move this picture to albumbutton at the bottom of the page.
K.This will move you to the next page. click on the Main page (view album)
L.You are now on your main page and the option of viewing your album is given to you.Click on Album one this will bring up your gallery with thumbnail size copies of your photos.
M.Click on the picture you wish to see. You should now be seeing an enlarged final version of your photo.
N.Right Click on the enlarged photo. You will get a grey dialog box click on properties. You will now get a larger dialog box with all the vital stats of your picture. Either copy and paste or write down(AOL) the URL address of this picture.Be sure to copy it EXACTLY as it is shown. It should start out with http://www.picutretrail.com.
O.Just below your post on ifish there is listed some UBB Codes. Click on the one that says IMAGE.
P.Transfer the URL address of your photo to the box that will appear in the upper corner.
Q.Click on "Add New Topic" and that should do it. If your image does not appear on your post you need to go back through your steps and see if you made a mistake. It's probably in the URL address where the mistake is. BE SURE IT IS COPIED LETTER FOR LETTER.
Good luck!
