Okay here is a question for you all! Right now i am fishing a 10 ft Livingston and want to upgrade to a bass boat with a raised platform and all about 14ft no more than 16 anyone have any cheap suggestions on a good boat, possibly something that would still be stable n safe for the Columbia. Also i found that since Bass fishing is not so big around here it is hard to find Bass boats. If anyone knows of any websites or anything that has local bass boats for sate it would be great i been watching craigslist for some time now and not found anything. One more thing is i do not need a new boat cause i dont have money to afford one about how much am i looking at spending for a much older boat? Thanks Much

Bassboats are also hard to sell in the NW. I just sold this one about 3 weeks ago, after trying for almost 6 months. I actually brought it all the way from Georgia, then decided I needed to get something bigger.

Take a Saturday and head to Tri-Cities. Check the local papaers plus all the dealerships. Good luck! Dave

Keep the Livingston. They make a great pond boat. They take a bit of practice to stand and fish comfortably out of the front or the back. I haven't been dumped out of mine yet (knock wood).

Good luck!

Yes i probably will keep that because that is my thrash boat. I am not worried about it cause it is cheap so i have now worries dragging it across rocks and stuff cause they are easy to patch up. Thanks i may need to head down to the tri-cities. RascallyRabbit to ad you sold yours that is about what i am looking for and not to far from my price range by mid summer i should be able to afford that. When i hook up with a boat i will let you know what i am running about on. Thanks

I have been thinking of selling 15 foot Skeeter Strata. It’s in very good condition. I bought it used 10 years ago from a dealer in Washington. Its white fiberglass with silver flake trimmed in red. Has the matching trailer. The tires are very good, the kind light delivery vans use. This winter I had the 70 horse Yamaha carburetors cleaned out because I didn’t run the gas out of the engine. That cost $300.

Early on I bought two new Lowrance depth finders. One on the console and one up front. The same time I put on a new Motor guide trolling motor. All the work being done at Phil’s Prop Shop in Redding California.

Last year I used the boat two or three times. This year only once, yesterday. Never had a bite. I don’t like walking around anything I’m not using. So maybe it’s time.

Used to fish lots of club tournaments and some opens for many years in a slightly larger Ranger boat and enjoyed all of it. Been retired for 16 years and thinking it’s a lot less trouble playing golf.

I have a digital camera and can take some pictures of the boat.

I just took five pictures this morning and they are in the gallery but I don't know how to upload them here. It says enter the URL of the picture but I don't see a URL.

Thanks for uploading those three pictures of my bass boat Super Fluke. Three out of five isn't bad.

Hrmmm thanks all well i figure with working this summer i am looking at spending around 2000 dollars or maybe another 500 more but that is it. My dad seems to think i could make the front of my livingston a raised platform myself??? do you think this would reall work or be stable enogh?? Any way i will keep looking and saving money and maybe make a trip to the tri-cities Also i cant get something to heavy cause i gotta be able to pull it with a 90's ford explorer. 4.0 V6 thanks much

My Skeeter on the highway weigh scales is just under 1400 pounds. No need for a license here in Oregon. I just push boat and trailer by hand and pull it into the garage.

This might work, you'd have to add some assessories but would definitely get you started http://www.ifish.net/board/showthread.php?t=149119

This is a 8 foot true line that I set up as a small water bass boat. It catches good fish! Small water like Silver Lake, Hagg lake and the Columbia river (backwater:laugh: )
