Hit a nice river today west of home trying to beat Andy but no luck. 2 for 4, 2 hookups a piece all swinging. My fish was a tiny native and my buddy landed a decent hatchery fish we let go (below). Got blown off the river late afternoon.

Don't be too hasty, the winter steelhead competition ends 15 April! That means there are still two weeks.

Oops! That means you have a shot at a bigger one;-)
I would post what I caught today but it was SE of HR bridge and not Steel.
River is sure high. I think I forgot how to fish a one hander.
The 15th it is.
