Well it started off as one of those days. Alarm clock goes off a nice chirping sound at 3 A. M. I quietly get up and smell fresh coffee that had just completed brewing and a note from my wife saying that she hopes that I have a nice day and to enjoy the coffee and lunch that she made for me. Get to the launch and the boat getting ready in front of me says go ahead and launch because he isn’t quite ready and his buddy comes down to the launch and helps me launch the boat.
Buddies show up on time with plenty of could beer and munchies. We start the day by trolling a little early for the tide. No sooner than the first rod gets out than wham and the fight is on a real screamer. First fish to the boat in less than five minutes of fishing. It was released harmlessly to continue its journey. About 20 minutes later and here we go again this one makes a few really good runs and then submits to the net. Second fish first keeper. Tide starts to change so we head to our favorite spot to tie up. Ten minutes later and the reel is screaming and the fight is on Third fish released to continue up the river. This day continues with a total of nine hookups most of them released. Finally towards the end of the tide it happens. Rod #1 goes down and the fight is on. I pick up my rod and something is wrong did I get tangled with rod #1 no Fish #2 is on. Buddy picks up the third rod and gets three cranks into it and wham is he tangled noooo that’s fish #3. they are every where and then together.
About that time I hear a loud buzzing noise and feel a sharp pain in my ribs. Yes, you guessed it alarm clock going off wife giving me the elbow, coffee at the minimart, @($& at the launch, buddies forgot the beer. However the fish did bite we had a really good day!

Wow! I love stories like this!
Isn't it good to leave on a nice note like your wife left you? NEATO!
You have to catch fish when your day starts like that!
Thanks for sharing... you have alot to be thankful for! Someone is watching over you!
