Hey Hammerhead I agree. There seems like an abundance of adult supervision. I doubt if everyone that is guiding the forum will be on it at once. No this is not a bad group. As is always the case a few do most of the troublemaking.

RT spent an incredible amount of time here, I doubt if any one person could sustain that effort for long. As far as editing, deleting and censoring posts goes, things will probably change there too. Jen is working on a more constructive way to handle troublemakers.

Think of the moderators as people that keep Jennie off the delete button so fast!
I think that women are from venus and men are from mars, and different people of all kinds live on different stars.
I am sometimes insulted by things that people say, then on more thought, it comes to me that I may have been too forceful in my opinion, therefore hurting peoples feelings.
I am hoping that with more opinions, we can have a more diverse group without making everyone 'wear izod shirts' and swab the deck daily...
The mods were picked to have specialties in different fields. We are all here to try and immediately welcome new members, so that when someone registers, has a question, it will be answered, if one of us is out of town.
RT was here round the clock. I am not a night person... I go to bed at 9ish most nights and rise at 5.
I hope it works out. It seems to be so far.
I think the ax will fall less if anything.
Seems to me, the need won't even be there if we, you know, talk about fishing???
This may change.... but for now, Jennie is feeling very cozy and comfy with lots of help!
I can write again! Wheeee!

Hurrah for you Jennie to have so many wonderful people and accomplished fisherpeople to help you out by committing time to reading EVERY post! Somehow I think the saying "it takes a village to raise a child" applies here. Ifish is the child and has growth pains all along the way! Bravo to all you moderators! http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/contrib/ruinkai/biggrinflip.gif

Hey....I wanna be a moderator ,too!!! Lets see...my specialty could be,...uhmm...drinking coffee. No, I spill that too much. How 'bout....um... donut specialists ! Thats it! I could, on a regular basis, give out the GPS coordinates for all of the fresh maple bar sites, on any given weekend. CoastalStream Donuts, OffShore Donuts, Columbia River Donuts, Deschutes Donuts....WoW...I would be irreplaceable.

Come to think of it...heck with you guys...in the words of Hey Yall..."I'm Outa Here"...gonna start my own site : [www.I'mGettinFatTrollin.net]

that's an old stereotype... it's more of a mocha & bagel thing now.
