Let us know if you had luck. I fished there once last spring. Cool series of ponds, but I didn't get a single bite. I wasn't fishing in the trout ponds, though.

I was there last weekend. Nothing for bass, and others I talked to weren't having any luck either. Eventually i put on a small mepps and caught a few bluegill.

Saw a young guy showing off a nice bout #3 or so largmouth there today. Bluegill are starting to bite but very lite. Fun little ponds to mess around in. If you are willing to get away from the more popular areas then you may just get into nicer fish. It is mosly small panfish and largmouth bass with a few others thrown in now and then. It will be better fishing as the water gets lower (kinda flooded now) and warms. :twocents:

It was wet and muddy but manage a few bass. avg a pound.my girlfriend lost one that might of been 3 pounds on a top water lure. Saw some people catch trout, bluegills, and crappie off of night crawler.

Next Saturday ODFW is putting on a kids event at pond #3. They are stocking it with average size trout and a bunch of large ones around 18". I believe it is from 10:00-2:00.

any perch in those ponds? can you launch a driftboat or is it a float tube scene?

I believe ODFW says no boats or floating apparatus. So I guess it's a bank scene... Don't know about the perch.

Bank only and I have not heard of any yellow perch in there. Just Bluegill/Sunfish, crappie, cats, largemouth bass, and a few carp. Of course pond 3 gets stocked with trout now also.

Blue is where I saw a really big bass patrolling last year.
Red is where we caught a few 3-6 pound catfish.
Good luck

Thanks for the map and the info, I was wondering where the cats were hanging out. Do you think some ponds are stocked with different types of fish, like bass and crappie in one, catfish in another, bass and catfish in a third, etc, or is it just a mixed bag?
The ponds were designed to be very species specific and the info board will tell you what's where. The ponds overflow the area every so often in the winter, so I imagine they are all mixed up by now.

PPO is correct, the ponds are all mixed up now. About 10 years ago it was a GREAT place to catch Channel Cats. Used to land 5-6 every time between 17-21 inches with a few getting up into the 6-8 pound range. Unfortunately, someone thought it'd be a good idea to introduce bullheads and now they've taken over. :( You can still catch Channel Cats but their few and far between.
