Lower Multnomah Channel report

Fished the lower channel around the mouth of Scappoose Bay two take downs and one big and lively native to the boat images/icons/grin.gif saw a lot of action in the morning then everything died until about 2:00 then saw a couple of keepers boated. In the morning it seemed like most of the fish caught were being kept.

The slough appeared to be slow today. We did not see a fish boated. My pal sacked 1 20 lb.er Fish and game boy said he had checked 4 fish for 20 boats in the channel and 2 fish for 25 boats in the Columbia.

Friday was good. Very few boats around. My wife and I had 3 fish. Our trolling partners had 4 and 2 fish respectively. Don't know where they went today !????

Yeah, but what a great peaceful place to be
today. No wind. Easy sit on a rope. One
20 too many fins for me. It was nice and
quiet.

Only saw 1 springer caught, heard of another one, release 2 gators, one 41 3/4. Down from browns landing.
