The fishing fair was a great success. Thanks to all who came and to those who participated. It was fun and the attendance doubled from last year. Tom and Grant did a great job!!!!!

GRANT,TOM, STEW AND THE REST OF THE GUYS, GREAT JOB WITH THE YOUTH FAIR, TOOK MY TWO BOYS PLUS A NEIGHBOR FREIND AND THEY HAD LOTS OF FUN AND LEARNED A FEW THINGS AS WELL.

Plunker, I am glad you and the kids had a good time, the efforts by the volunteers and vendors is the most important element. All of those folks gave up a fishing day (especially the Columbia) for the future of fishing - the kids! We had many Ifishers helping out - including Getbit, BigStew, Rauly, Fish forever, RW, Fishbait and many others that I know use this great site. We hope to continue to build on this year's success. If you have any ideas to improve the event let me know. Thanks to everyone that helped out - These kids maybe taking us all fishing someday - if they know how much fun it is!

We would love to take the Youth Fishing Fair to a whole new level.Love to have some more financial support from some corporations or ? Have got a giant casting demo tank out of NoCal we would love to have next year and who knows what else. We actually have room for about 6-8 more vendors at Hilhi and want to go bigger and better. Anyone have any ideas or contacts to pursue let me know. Once again thanks to all who helped !!! images/icons/cool.gif
