Crescent Lake Mac

I went fishing at Crescent Lake this weekend with hookjawfreak. I caught two mackinaw Sunday night. Here is the photo of the largest one, 12 pounds caught off Simax beach in less than 25ft of water.

Nice start Jimmy. How is the snow situation? Is the gate to the forest service launches open?

The gate is still locked. The launch from the beach is still very shallow. We had all four tires on Dans truck in the water to launch and load the boat. As for the snow it has melted a lot but there is still a couple of feet on the service road to the public launch. The public launch it self is dry. It was nice to catch some thing over 20 inches.

I managed to catch a couple nice fish, too. The browns found my lure with 4 and 8 pounders being the noteworthy fish. Jimmy is one heck of a guide!
