It was stocked on the 5th and again on the 19th a total of 3500 fish and they are hungry. Egg sinkers followed by a swivel and then about 24 inches of leader to a size 12 or 14 treble hook with just enough rainbow powerbait to cover the hook throw it on the bottom and don't put your pole down, you won't have time.

It was actually stocked on Thursday the 22nd. I was heading up the hill when the truck was coming down. I do catch and release and between Thursday afternoon and Friday noon, I guess-ti-mate catching over two hundred fish. Lots of fun! Some of the guys on the bank fishing powerbait and or eggs were spending several hours to get their 5 fish.

In the two days I was there my guess would be that 30-40 limits were taken out. In the next couple of days you can figure double that. They stocked 2000 fish Thursday and by now probably about half remain. Still a good shot at some fishing action for this week, then until it is stocked again pretty slow.

The park was hit pretty hard by storms this winter and is a mess. Don't forget it is now a $5 day use fee too.

It was scheduled to be stocked on the 19th, something must have happened to cause them to post-pone it.

The date it shows to be stocked is usually not the day it happens. It just happens within that week. "All dates are for the "Week of Stocking" only and not the actual date stocked"
