Has anybody had much experience w/ the accuracy of the stocking schedule on the ODFW website for the trout stockings? I took my high school fishing club out to Roslyn to fish for some trout last Saturday that were supposed to be stocked earlier that week. There was no sign of trout (a ton of ppl with no fish and no jumpers/risers). Last year I went to Benson the week of the first stocking and had the exact same experience. I can't say for sure that either of these lakes weren't stocked but I didn't see any sign of a recent stocking (2000 trout can't just disappear in a lake...especially one the size of Benson).

The few times I've gone to E.E. Wilson so far this year the fish sure appeared to have been stocked the Monday morning. But I can't speak for any other locations.
Of course what I find interesting is that the numbers of the different sized fish stocked doesn't seem to agree what everyone is catching. Though so far it's always been on the larger side for being inaccurate so I don't think anyone is about to complain.

My take is to call ODFW and see if they really did stock Roslyn lake. Roslyn is a very productive lake when stocked and the water temp is a little warmer.
I have caught from 30 to 50 trout a day when the stocked fish are there but not this time of year. Give it anothe month and a half and you can't keep them off your hook.
No bait unless you are keeping five or less.
Use artaficials, Lures, flies, then you can release them and fish all day without killing any because of deep throat bait hook ups.

And it often takes several days of being in new water, before they start getting active.
