Bought a used cheapy manual model and the counter is not moving. Anyone know if there is an easy fix or replacement?

Have you tried sliding it toward the spool to engage the gears ? :) Don't laugh I thought mine was broke for a minute or so.:idea:

You can call the factory at 1-800-227-6433. Their prices are way cheaper than retail.
