I see oil on my 90 HP 1994 Johnson Outboard. This engine has been converted to add oil to the gas. I have checked all fuel lines and plugged all the oil lines that are not in use. The oil that is coming down the side of the housing area below the engine is oil only (not mixed with gas). Where could it be coming from.

If it's dark looking oil (not pretty blue or green) it's probably excess unburned oil condensing in your exhaust. Pretty common.

If in fact you have all the old oil lines removed and all sealed uo, You are likely just seeing what`s left of the fuel that may be leaking out of the carbs when the engine is tilted up. You don`t see the gas because it evaporates and just leaves the oil. Probably nothing to worry about.
