To hook up into a Springer. I'm reading all this Kwikfish stuff and Different sizes. What's everybody's favorite color and if you use scent, what kind of stench do you prefer? Where is the best place to find one,and best stuff to use. I plan on going out Thursday, and Don't have a clue where to go. Can anybody help??? Thanks, Smily images/icons/smile.gif

Rent a guide for the day, they'll show you the ropes and get you started into the right direction

Hey Smily,
Try the Columbia! images/icons/grin.gif
Don't know where or what to use but it dosen't matter! I don't seem to be able to catch anything out of that river anyway. Oh well, sure beats a good day at work images/icons/smile.gif
Let me know if you find something that works and email me before you go. I'll tell you what I'm trying so you don't waist yer time....
Just joking, good luck.

Come on now Mr Fisherman, I'm gonna get your cherry this week for sure. Springers don't have a chance. I'll let you bring in the first one regardless of which rod goes down. Also Mr Bob Hennessy gave me his brine receipe. I'm excited I just do not have the week that it needs to sit in the back of my boat in the sun images/icons/shocked.gif images/icons/shocked.gif Call me and let me know if you got the kitchen pass for Friday. Those big lings are just dying to jump in the boat. Knida be nice to lose your virginity twice in as many days images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif images/icons/grin.gif

Dan!,
Have you scrubbed off those black and white stripes from the last trip? images/icons/shocked.gif
Hey, I'm game. If ya keep taking me out I'll buy a tube of superglue and that cherry will last and last.....
Maybe I could get my wife to sew up a flag for the boat I'm fishing on that day, with a skunk wearing an eye patch.
Let's go fishing! images/icons/grin.gif

SMILEY & MR. FISHERMAN
It will change, day to day, but Tuesday my partner caught three on Qwickfish. Silver with Pink stripe and Silver with Chartruse head or tail. They were herring wrapped
I caught five on just a red bead spinner, changing and using various different colors of blades. Live for running spinners with a dropper in the Columbia current. It's August in April so far. Hope they keep it open.

Has anyone tried the an anchovy spinner rig like they use on the Rogue? Im sure it would work in the Columbia.

Come on now Ramstrong! You looked like you knew where you were going Thursday. You had the hole. Way to go! Not bad for a slow day of fishing all around.
