Anyone have any experience with Rolls deep cycle batteries for use with minkota trolling motors? They are substantially more expensive than the Trojan batteries, wondering if they perform better?
Thanks for any info.

hello, as far as flooded batteries are concerned they are the best money can buy, period. they will work extremely well with trolling motors. they have the highest reserve capacity and amp hour rating and cycle life. all of this is great as long as maintenance is done on a regular basis and a good charger is used they will last a considerable amount of time. this will justify the added expense. the caveat to all of this is if they are going to be subjected to cyclical and or erratic use and charging then save your money and use a cheaper battery. Southeast marine services, in scappose or, sells them. talk to a gentleman named Larry he has forgotten more about batteries than any of us will ever know.

I bought a Rolls agm battery for my boat. So far it seems to be a good battery. I use it for the main battery and as soon as I installed it my powertilt seemed to be much stouter than before. Maybe my old battery was never up to par but this one has lots of power compared to the old one even when it was new.
