Let's just say "I'm hearing it from a friend is all." Let's say this "friend" sent an email to Dot asking her about that important angler sale going on down in Portland. Well this "friend" had to call Dot to get the 411. Well Dot was very polite and a super-enthused, fisher lady (according to my friend images/icons/wink.gif ) Well Dot gave this "friend" directions to that guy's house and his phone number. So after my "friend" talked to Earl about 6 times, it was finally cool with Earl for my "friend" to come down on Sunday to browse the garage full of tackle, etc.
Well Earl held a nice Bantam 251 for this "friend". My "friend" ended up walking away with a ton of stuff images/icons/cool.gif
Shimano Bantam 251 --needs servicing
Penn 209 (Black) Levelwind in Mint condition with a never-used-before Daiwa Eliminator rod 8' long still with the packaging stapled to it.
A plethera of beads (for fishing) images/icons/grin.gif
A ton of pencil lead still in original packaging.
200 #2 steelie hooks.
Holographic lure tape still in original packaging (5 sheets of different colors).
27 PLUGS images/icons/shocked.gif = 10 wiggle warts, 2 Steelie Warts, 2 Wee Warts, and the rest were different sizes of Hot Shots. 90% in EXCELLENT condition and 3 of them still in the original packaging (looks like the late 70's or early 80's ?)
I think I may have left 10 plugs that were decent....maybe.
And I think some more stuff, but I can't think right now......OOPS, I MEANT MY FRIEND GOT ALL THIS STUFF, NOT ME images/icons/wink.gif So Dot (FISHRUS), a BIG thanks from "our friend". images/icons/wink.gif
