I had the pleasure of fishing with guide Marty Peterson of Gone Fishin Guide Service. Marty did an excellent job of getting us into the fish and teaching me an unfamiliar stretch of driftboat water. This was by far the best guided fishing trip I have ever been on.

Marty's knowledge of and passion for fishing is incredible. He also shows incredible dedication to the preservation of the fisheries that we all so much enjoy. He taught me some very effective ways of handling native steelhead without harming them. With every fish he tailed, you could see in his expression how much he loves and cares for these fish and this fishery.

My 9 year old son Cameron and I spent all day with him, and I can honestly say that this was the BESTfishing trip (guided or non guided) we have ever experienced. If we would not have caught any fish, I would still say that. By the way we hooked 7 and landed 5. All very healthy big shouldered beautiful natives. All were released quite unharmed.

I would highly recommend Marty to all of you and will be to many people from now on. Again, Thanks Marty.

I've had the pleasure of fishing with Marty a couple of times and plan to again. He is the most professional, knowledgable guide I've ever fished with in fact he even gave me a full body massage after a long day of fishing.....not really images/icons/grin.gif I hope to fish with Marty for springers ASAP.

I think Marty is awesome too.
Talk about humble. Some guides can be a little overbearing, and Marty is just a real pleasure to be around. He makes you feel right at home!
His wife is pretty neat-0 too!

Hey Tanner, were you down there Saturday? If you were you know what a miserable day it was on the coast. You know somethings wrong when the wind blows your boat upriver. Kinda funny how you can be head to toe Goretex and still get wet! Anyways, I saw Marty's rig at the take out where I put in, managed 2 nate's the whole day. They are beautiful! I havn't had the pleasure of fishing with him, but would like to very much. He know's that upper river very well. Any openings for a 6th bridge run Marty?

Big Willie,
Yeah we were there on Saturday. We got absolutely soaked. If it wasn't for Marty's killer heater we would have been a little cold.
