Wow....what a day....we boated 5 springerstoday...released two...for a total of 5... 3 keepers, and didn't even see any other fish caught...y'all shoulda been there!! images/icons/grin.gif

I am sporting "free agent" status right now. Got home yesterday after going 0 for 0 springer fishing and the wife cut me from the starting line up. I have to warm the bench for a while I guess. Maybe she will let me fish again soon. images/icons/frown.gif After I finish the "to do" list she created. Shouldnt take more than a few weeks images/icons/rolleyes.gif

Ah Come On Fishin Mission. I am about to be reduced to sturgeon fishing as my wife says I can at least put meat in the freezer if I go for the gators. Now really, where were you fishing? Can't believe we can't atleast get a takedown this year, but we can't. Launch at the Fishery. Go to the SHAD RACK (Ives Island) and fish in 12 to 14 feet of water, with current. Qwik Fish and Spinners are working. You WILL catch fish, keep at it. Numbers are climbing steadily.
