Depthfinder temp is off

Took the boat out for the first time last week and it said the Columbia was 62 degrees. Well we all know my temp must be off by about 20 degrees. What can I do ?:help:

Mine's toast too. This winter it was reading a balmy 98 degrees but now it matches yours, 62.

What can you do? If it's under warranty send it in, otherwise bring a second thermometer...

On a previous fishfinder I had it was a corroded electrical connection in the unit. Had that re-soldered and it worked fine for a couple of more years.
